In order to encourage artistic creation, explore artistic expression, and respond to the spirit of the times, Hualien County Cultural Bureau has organized a local art exhibition - Olan Art Exhibition since 1984. After 103 years, it was changed to a biennale. In 2015, it broke away from the framework of local art exhibitions and transformed into a national competition. The number of applicants and the level of creation exceeded the previous ones. In 110 years, the form of solicitation has been greatly changed. There are no restrictions on ethnic groups and nationalities, and there are no restrictions on the type, media and size of entries. This year, we will continue to use the form of international solicitation and multiple media to provide art creators with a comprehensive competition platform.
